Women Grievance Redressal Cell & ICC Committee Meeting Minutes

Objectives

  • To resolve issues pertaining to girl’s / women’s grievances.
  • To provide confidential and supportive environment and to ensure the fair and timely redressal of harassment complaints.
  • To provide information regarding counseling and promote awareness about harassment issue through initiatives that encourage respectful and safe campus environment.
  • Providing necessary counseling services.

Methodology

  • Any girl student / women employee who feel being harassed (of any type) directly or indirectly may submit a written complaint to the committee drop in,  their complaints in the  complaint box or through  mail to  WGCICC@sdmcujire.in
  • After receiving the complaint, the chairperson shall convene the meeting of the cell.
  • The chairperson will appoint investigation committee, coordinator will convene the meetings.
  • On the completion of any inquiry, the investigation committee submits a report of its findings to the cell and it will be submitted to the Principal for the necessary action.
  • The person who is found guilty will be punished depending on the seriousness of the complaint.
  • The committee will meet at least once in a month to resolve the grievances depending on the seriousness of the complaint.

Documentation Procedures

  • Maintaining confidentiality of the complaints received.
  • Submission of monthly report to the concerned authority (JD Office) on 3rd of every month.
  • Submission of activity report to documentation committee once in 15 days.
  • Decisions taken in the monthly meeting are properly recorded in the minute book.
