Department of Biotechnology

The Department is one of the earliest departments established in the year 1966.

The Core and Elective Mathematics courses are aimed at building a strong foundations and exposure to advanced research studies in the subject. The Laboratory based courses give the exposure and training in application-oriented practical subjects. A good competent faculties of the department promotes students to take part in career related activities. Department has good placement record.

‘Math Clinic ‘is a unique Subject-Association of the department which organizes talks and discussions on mathematics and related topics

  1.  Biotechnology Skill Enhancement Programme – BiSEP 2nd phase of the Biotechnology Finishing Schools BTFS at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College Ujire 574 240
    BiSEP efforts are towards channeling academic ability to meet industry requirements and expose students to latest happenings in the industry .Under BiSEP we are offering unique job oriented Post graduate diploma in Fermentation and Bioprocessing supported by Dept of IT , BT and S&T GoK and DBT ,GoI.
