UG

The College Campus (UG and PG) is situated in the pristine land area of 47.1 acres amidst the scenic beauty at the foothills of the Western Ghats in Belthangady Taluk. The infrastructure developed for the purposes of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities nestles the finest educational activities in the country.
The Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research activities are carried out in UG and PG blocks of the campus which is spread over 10 acres of the landscape. The sports facilities such as Sri D Ratnavarma Heggade Stadium, Indraprastha Auditorium, Swimming Pool, Multi-facility Gym, and Courts for almost all sorts of games produced a number of national and international athletes. Arboretum, a garden of medicinal plants is developed and maintained in an 8-acre campus with the scientific classification of the plants. SDM Cultural Centre provides ample space and scope for training and performance in performing arts.
Accommodation facilities include the free hostel facilities for sports students, Siddavana Gurukula, Dheemanth, and Dheemahi Hostels for students and residential quarters facility for the staff. The college cafeteria serves healthy and nutritious food at a subsidized rate.
The carbon neutral campus is maintained under the lush green foliage. The water used for primary purposes are treated in an STP and used for the secondary purposes. Other basic amenities such as Vijaya Bank, Post Office, Multi-Facility Centre, Cooperative Store, Vehicles, Internet and WiFi, etc. provide a conducive academic environment.

PG

A separate PG Block with spacious classrooms equipped with LCD projectors, spacious seminar rooms, well equipped laboratories, retiring rooms for boys and girls, cafeteria and accommodation facilities are special and unique features of the college. Infrastructure in PG block comprises of a vast library with over 4000 books cumulatively for all the PG programs, 25 subscribed magazines and 7 daily news papers. There are 22 spacious classrooms with LCD projectors for audio visual usage, to make teaching and learning effective and interesting. 12 exclusive AV Rooms with a seating capacity of 80 and a large seminar hall accommodating about 200 people are available for departmental conferences, seminars and guest lectures. The state of the art laboratories are present in Physics (2), Chemistry (4), Biotechnology (1), Psychology (1) and Statistics (1), with all the necessary amenities to carry out regular practicals as well as research. ‘Dheemanth’ and ‘Dheemahi’, separate hostels for boys and girls are situated in the campus accommodating around 400 students each.
