Group II: The student has to choose One Discipline Elective Course offered during 3rd and 4th Semester.

Group III: Foundation Courses – The student shall study the following courses

  • Compulsory – English language is the compulsory course and one of the languages Sanskrit / Hindi/ Kannada as second language.
  • Elective – (i) Constitution of India (ii) Human Rights (iii) Gender Equity (iv) Environmental Studies – shall be studied as compulsory courses in I to IV Semesters.

Note:

  • Course 1 /  Course 2 /  Course 3:                I to IV semesters- Theory: 3 credits = 4 contact hours,  Practicals:2 credits = 4 contact hours.
  •  Course 1 /  Course 2 /  Course 3:               V to VI semesters – Theory:  2 credits = 3 contact hours & Practicals:2 credits = 4 contact hours.
  • Discipline Elective / Optional: 2 credits = 2 contact hours
  • Languages: 3 credits = 4 contact hours
  • Compulsory:       2 credits =           2 contact hours
  • Constitution etc -2 credits -3 contact hours.
