“Yoga is one of the biggest assets of India and the world. It amalgamates the body and the mind, making us individuals with greater core strength and better impact”, said Satheeshchandra, the Principal of SDMC Ujire at the Yoga Day Celebrations held on the 21st of June.
“Yoga shouldn’t be limited to International Yoga Day. It must become a part of our lives, such that it shapes our good health. It is especially a vital part of life in the modern, demanding era”, he added.
More than 200 students of the college participated in the mass demonstration of Yoga. The Head of Sanskrit department Shreedhar Bhat, Head of English department GR Bhat, Head of Commerce department Malini Anchan were present at the event.
