On 3rd October 2019, at 11am, SDME Society and NSS Units of SDM College organised the Valedictory Ceremony of Mahatma Gandhiji’s 150th Birth Anniversary and Inauguration of Swachch SDM Abhiyan. The event was hosted to conclude the year long activities held to commemorate Gandhiji’s 150th Birth Anniversary. On this occasion Sri D Harshendra Kumar, Secretary, SDME Society inagurated Swachch SDM Abhiyan to take forward the Swach Bharath initiative of GOI. Sri D Harshendra Kumar invoked the need for self realisation to keep our campus, surrounding and the country clean. All the institution heads were bestowed with the responsibility of joining hands in this cause with immediate effect. The programme was attended by Smt. Anitha Surendra Kumar, Smt. Supriya Harshendra Kumar of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala, Dr. B Yashovarma, Secretary, SDME Society and other dignitaries.
