Department of Chemistry organized the celebration of “World Environment Day” through the Spatika association on 5 June 2021 on the online platform. The programme involved student presentations on the theme of this year’s celebration and about few selected Indians who contributed for the cause of environment.
Ms Sai Prajna of II B.Sc. C presented a talk on “Ecosystem Restoration- Causes of Damage, Human Impact on the Ecosystem, and Construction of Artificial Ecosystem”
Ms. Sandra Das of II B.Sc. C made a presentation and spoke about Indian Environmentalists, Smt. Vandana Shiva, Sri. Sundar Lal Bhahuguna, Smt. Saalumarada Thimmakka, Sri. Anil Kumar Agarwal and Sri. Simon Oroan Minj and their contribution in the field.
Ms. Bindhya of II B.Sc. C coordinated the program, Ms. Shreenayana of II B.Sc. B welcomed the gathering, and Ms. Disha of II B.Sc. C presented the vote of thanks. 88 participants witnessed this program.
