SDM Post Graduate center has organized a one day workshop, ‘Project Proposal Writing for Research Grants’ on 19 August 2019. The resource person was Dr. K N Chidambara Murthy, Principal Scientist, Central Research Laboratory, M S Ramaiah Medical College & Hospitals, Bangalore. He briefed about proposal writing techniques in different streams. He discussed Do’s and Don’ts in research proposals. He sparkled light on latest literature search and work done on the planned proposal. He guided on formulating a good research proposal. Information about the different funding agencies was also given. He looked into some of the Stride Project Proposal of the faculty members and suggested the corrections. 39 faculty members got benefited from this programme.
