YOJANAA the First Phase of UGC’s Paramarsh was inaugurated and a day long NAAC orientation workshop was held on 8th November 2019. Dr. Ganesh Hegde, the Deputy Adviser to NAAC in his inaugural address said the Paramarsh is a recently launched UGC’s scheme to empower the Non-Accredited Higher Education Institutions. He also said that when institutions need support to prepare themselves for NAAC Accreditation, the Hub and Spoke created by UGC shall provide a suitable platform to these institutions to interact with premier and highly rated institutions and prepare well for accreditation. The programme was presided over by Prof. Satheeshchandra S, the principal of the college. The day long deliberations in four sessions focused on the new framework of NAAC. Dr. Ganesh Hegde, the Resource Person guided the delegates about the process and preparation to be made. Dr PA Radhakrishnan, university nominee of the College Governing Body and the former VC of Kerala University shared his experience as a NAAC peer team member with the delegates in the interactive session. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shankaranarayan k and SN Kakthkar. Mrs. Chitra compered the programme, Dr. Shankaranarayan k gave initial remarks and welcomed the gathering. Mrs Namratha Jain proposed the vote of thanks.

The institutions include Government First Grade college Siddakatte, Government First Grade College, Puttur, Ramakunjeshwara First Grade College Ramakunja, Vidyarashmi First Grade College Savanoor, SDM MMK Women’s College Mysore, Gurudeva First Grade College Belthangagy, SDM BEd College Ujire and SDM MBA College Mangalore.
