The department of B.Voc in Digital Media and Film Making has inaugurated a film society titled ‘Tesseract’ on 6 th November 2023, in occasion of World Cinema Day which was observed on 5 th November. This society is created for film enthusiasts from within and outside SDM and allows open discussion on topics pertaining to film. Chetan Mundadi, national award-winning filmmaker inaugurated the film society. Dr. BA Kumara Hegde, Principal of SDM College Ujire presided over the program. Mr. Suveer Jain, Course Coordinator of B.Voc programmes and Mr. Madhava Holla, HOD of B.Voc in Digital Media and Film Making were present at the event among other faculty. Students of B.Voc in Digital Media and Film Making. Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication and Masters in English participated in the programme.
