The Annual Sports Meet of SDM College Ujire took place on the 20th of February. The event was inaugurated by the eye-catching and disciplined march past competition participated by 57 teams from different courses. Themes such as Kambala, ISRO, Go Green campaigns and other elements of importance were portrayed by different teams. 3rd B.Com A bagged the first place, 3rd B.Com B bagged the second place, and 3rd B.Com D and B.Voc teams shared the third place in the march past competition.
Many state and national level sports achievers were honoured at the occasion, including Ullas, Santosh Kumar B, Arun and Manjunath who represented the college at National Weightlifting Championship. Prof. Satheeshchandra, the Principal of SDM College Ujire presided over the inaugural. All faculty members were present throughout the day as a number of sports events saw massive participation from the talented sports prodigies of SDM.
