Research and Development Cell organized Special talk on Scope and Structuring of Scientific Publications from Project under Promotion of Research Activities by Dr Sudhakar Y N, Assistant Professor (Senior Scale), Department of Chemistry, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, on 8 May 2024 and at 10.30 am at Seminar Hall-1, SDM PG Centre, Ujire.
The main objective of the programme is to motivate the students to publish articles in reputed journals resulting from their project work and Dissertation. Dr Sudhakar Y N in his talk gave information about the outlay and contents of the article. Innovation in the research work plays significant role in generating a greater output, he said. While drafting the project report students can follow article format, he insisted. He suggested the students to work beyond the class hour to incorporate research culture and work hard to achieve success in the same. He also advised to write review articles and take the help of AI tools to draft the paper.
Dr Vishwanatha P, Dean PG Studies, Dr Sowmya B P, Director, Research & Development Cell, Dr Shashiprabha, Coordinator of the programme and members of Research and Development Cell were graced the programme with their presence.
Ms. Kalpitha T V, I M.Sc. Organic Chemistry welcomed the gathering, Ms. Nandana M, I M.Sc. Organic Chemistry proposed vote of thanks Mr. Khushi R Gowda, I M.Sc. Organic Chemistry was the master of ceremony.
About 150 participants including students from M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Psychology, M.Sc. Physics, M.A. English, M.Com. were beneficiaries of the programme.
