Established in 1966
The Department of Mathematics strives to empower students with the knowledge and skills to understand and apply the universal language of science: Mathematics. As part of the B.Sc. program, the department integrates practical components into each unit of every paper, ensuring hands-on learning. The department’s association, Sigma Association, fosters a collaborative academic environment through engaging workshops, competitions, and seminars. Additionally, the unique Maths Clinic programme serves as a platform for discussions, mentoring, and expert talks on mathematics and its interdisciplinary applications.
