Ujire, August 15: Amidst the resonance of ‘Nation First,’ disciplined parade, and the melodious tunes of patriotic songs, the sports ground of Shri Ratnavarma Heggade College at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Institutions witnessed the exuberance of the 77th Independence Day celebration.
Students from various institutions under the SDM umbrella, including pre-primary, primary, high school, pre-university, undergraduate, postgraduate, and naturopathy and Yogic science, IT and Diploma college, came together to mark the grandeur of the 77th Independence Day celebration. As the flag was unfurled, a salute to the flag was presented by N.C.C. cadets. The students of SDM Kalakendra presented the national anthem. Alongside the rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Saare Jahan Se Achha,’ the gathering was filled with a sense of pride and inspiration about the country.
