On 30th August 2019, Department organized a guest lecture on “Career Opportunities and Higher Education” on 30th august 2019. Dr.Praveen B.M, Professor and Head and Director, Research and Innovation Council , Srinivas University, Mangaluru spoke on the importance of higher education and various scholarships available for pursuing higher education. He motivated the students of B.Sc to appear for various competitive examinations like IAS, KAS, IPS and IFS conducted by different public service commissions. He also highlighted the importance of knowledge about the importance of current affairs and soft skills. About 150 students were actively involved and benefited by the programme.
