The Department of Economics and Rural Development organised a State Level Conference on the topic “World Economic Crisis: Learning and Wayout” as a part of an MoU with the Department of Economics, KSS College, Subrahmanya, on 28 July 2022. Dr K S Jayappa, Finance Officer, Mangalore University, Konaje, inaugurated the conference, and Sri Premshekar, the Economic and Political Analyst, Udupi, delivered the keynote address. Dr Mahesh Kumar Shetty H, Assistant Professor, coordinated the programme. Around 150 participants attended the conference.
