International Conference on AI and Human Behaviour

Ujire, December 4, 2023 – The S.D.M. Post-Graduate Centre in Ujire hosted an international conference on “The Role and Future of Artificial Intelligence in Human Behavior” on December 3 and 4. The conference was organized by the Department of Psychology.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Niranjan Vanalli, Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore North University. He said that artificial intelligence (AI) can play a major role in the development of various sectors. However, professionals should also nurture their creative abilities along with AI.

Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, Principal of S.D.M. College, presided over the inaugural session. He said that the basis of human behavior is the electromagnetic waves in the brain. These waves function according to the person’s emotions and situational needs. Internal and external motivations are the basis of his responses.

Dr. Vishwanath P., Dean of the Post-Graduate Centre, said that AI will further expand the possibilities of science and technology sectors. It is necessary to create models of benefits keeping in mind its positive and negative impacts.

Dr. Vandana Jain, Head of the Department of Psychology, welcomed the guests and spoke on the introductory note. The conference was attended by students, faculty, and staff from various universities across the country.
