The student activity Fora of our college led by Students’ Council was inaugurated on 24th August 2019 at Indraprastha auditorium. The Fora of various activities was inaugurated by Dr. Devaraj B., Deputy Superintendent of Police, Davanagere.
Dr.B. Yashovarma, the Secretary of SDM Educational Society was the Chief guest of the programme. Prof. Satheeshchandra, the Principal presided over the programme.
Speaking to the students and student representatives, the inaugurator Dr. Devaraj emphasized to develop positive, constructive thinking. He called for developing personality by following great seers, religious leaders and philosophers. He also called for positive thinking so that one can implement good civil code in life. He expressed the view that from global thinking we can solve local challenges. We have to develop mutual trust and confidence. He also gave tips to the students that perfection is achieved through considering all the small aspects of the life and one can become perfect by this and perfection is not a small thing in life.
Dr.B. Yashovarma, the Secretary of SDME Society, addressed the gathering and hinted the students that they should always have an eye to notice the problems, defects in each situation and find solution to them.
Prof. Satheeshchandra wished the students council members to succeed in their endeavour.
Prof. G.R. Bhat, the Co-ordinator of student welfare committee welcomed the gathering. Suhas Rao, III B.A., student co-ordinator expressed vote of thanks.
