The Student association “Masters Passion 2021-22” of the Department of PG Studies & Research in Commerce was inaugurated on 3/01/2022. The inaugurator of Masters Passion was Ms Praveena K, Deputy Manager, State Bank of India, Ujire. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Dr PN Udayachandra, Principal, SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire. The students of I and II year M.Com. were present for the inauguration.
Ms Praveena K, addressed the students by stating that the lessons learned from defeat should not be forgotten. Defeat is not the opposite of success, but an important part of success. But when you lose, we have to apply the lessons taught by defeat in life. The time and Opportunities available during college should be utilized properly by the students.
Dr Udaychandra P.N, Principal of SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire while in his presidential address stated that the students should be able to take clear decisions about career at the academic stage itself. Students should have complete information about their subject of interest and prepare for competitive examinations.
The newly elected student office bearers of masters passion took a pledge to discharge their roles and responsibilities as office bearers. Dr Udayachandra P.N, handed over badges to the masters passion office bearers.
Dr. Priya Kumari, HoD, Department of PG Studies & Research in Commerce, Ms Madhushree. S, Assistant Professor and Dr. Suresh Babu, Assistant Professor were present. Ms Akshita, II Mcom( IBM) & Ms Keerthi Shenoy, I MCom were the Master of Ceremony, Mr Ashwath Kumar, President of Masters passion welcomed the dignitaries and read the current year plan of action. Ms Prathigna H.K., Secretary of Masters passion presented the previous year annual report, Manoj Jadhav, I Mcom rendered the vote of thanks.
