The PG Department of Chemistry inaugurated the activities of the academic year 2021-22 under the department association ‘CONCHEM’ on 1 January 2022. Prof. T. N. Keshav, Former Principal and retired Professor of Physics, SDM College (Autonomous) Ujire inaugurated the programme. Chemistry has occupied the universe in all the fields starting from atom to the materials that we are using in our daily life, said Prof. T. N. Keshav in his inaugural speech. President of the programme Dr. Vishwanatha P., Dean PG Studies and HoD of Chemistry, briefed about activities to be conducted for the academic year 2021-22 and said CONCHEM is the right platform for the students to showcase their talents and to bloom themselves with their hidden skills, in his presidential remark. He wished the Secretary of CONCHEM Dr. Sujay M. M. and newly elected office bearers of CHONCHEM good luck. Dr. Shashiprabha, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry read the report of the activities conducted in the previous academic year. Ms. Sukrutha N., II M.Sc. Organic Chemistry welcomed the gathering and Ms. Apoorva, II M.Sc. Chemistry proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Nefisath P., Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry mastered the ceremony.
