Hindi association inauguration

Mrs. Ramya Joshi, Lecturer, Vani PU College Belthangady, Inaugurator and vothing the gathering in connection with Hindi Sangha on 25th May 2024. The programme was presided by Dr. B.A.Kumar Hegde. He released the first issue of wall magazine of the academic year 2024-25 on the auspicious occasion. Ms. Shruti Mankikar Asst. professor Dept.of Hindi welcomed the freshers to the Hindi family and insisted all the students to participated in the department events actively.

National Hindi seminar

Under the joint auspices of the Department of Hindi at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College and Canara Bank Ujire Branch, Sec. On 18th, a one-day National Symposium on ‘Interrelationship of Hindi and South Indian Languages’ was held.

Dr.Satischandra S ,Secretary of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar Educational Institutions spoke after the inauguration.  “Though there are 22 official languages ​​and 121 recognized languages ​​in our country, only Hindi is recognized as the national language.Language is a tool to share our feelings, not a sign of prestige,” he said.Language acts as a bridge between countries, regions and religions. Language is not meant to separate everyone. Hindi language is very important to identify ourselves as Indians,” he opined.Chief Guest, Director of Higher Education and Research Institute, South India Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras, Dr. Subhash G. Rane said that no matter where you go to any corner of India, Hindi language will be very useful. It is a pleasure to organize this symposium on the occasion of Hindi Day”.He said that students should know the history of languages ​​like Kannada, English and Hindi.Head of Hindi Department of Mangalore’s St. Aloysius College Dr. Mukunda Prabhu gave information on the history of Hindi language and literary works. The principal of the college presided over the program. B. A. Kumar Hegde said, “The contribution of Hindi language is important for unity, unity and harmony among Indians. When most of the people of the country use Hindi language, it is very important that everyone learns this language.We should learn Hindi language to increase the national concept. We should acquire the great knowledge in that language,” he said.
