We were accompanied by an eminent resource person Dr. Kalappa Prashantha, Professor, ACU – Centre for Research & Innovation, Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Adichunchanagiri University, B G Nagara, Mandya who has orated on the topic “Advance Polymer Blends and Composites for Industrial Applications” on 20 October 2023. He has emphasized on the blend of two bioplastics named Polylactic acid (PLA) and Polyamide (PA). He also focused on the need of biodegradable polymers for the sustainable environment. He has interacted with the students and gave clarity for the questions which were asked by the students. Dr. Narayana Hebbar, Assistant Professor has chaired the session. Miss Supriya K and Miss Shruti V have served as master of ceremony. Dr. Vishwanatha P, Dean, PG Studies and HoD, all the Faculty members of Chemistry Department and Students were present at the session.
