Topic: Use of AI tool in Research- I
Use of AI tools: Research, Publication & Data Analysis
Speaker Started with the introduction to the AI, revolutions and the history in brief. During this discussed he also explained the difference between human intelligence and artificial intelligence with live example. Some of the key concepts areThinking Machines, types of Artificial Intelligence (Narrow, General, Super). Discussion of the session leads towards how AI helps the academician and researcher. Gave information on Technologies specifically designed for educational use (MOODLE) and General technologies that are widely used in educational settings (GOOGLE).
Highlight of the session is, hands on experience on technology usage. With the title how to be with AI. The session made the participant to write article using ChatGPT and explore more into it. Focus was also given to the literature review using AI, AI Policy and on application.
Technical Session 13
Topic: Use of AI tool in Research- II
AI Tools for Basic Statistics
Afternoon session was practical oriented. Mainly given knowledge of data analyst. Participants made to learn qualitative data analysis using AI. Presenting Intellectual Out: under this theme PowerPoint Presentation using ChatGPT and Gamma or Canva, Creative for LinkedIn using Gemini, Creative for Facebook using ChatGPTwere thought to the group.
Brief introduction on Plagiarism and its type also discussed. Knowledge on tools used for plagiarism check was shared in the session. Finally precautions which has to be taken by researchers were discussed and some of the errors commonly made and has to be minimized during the AI usage are also thought to the participants. Benefits, threats about the AI usage and YouTube link was shared by the resource person.
Technical Session 14
Topic: Process of research publication
In this session, the resource person focused on the detailed manuscript structure. He gave hands on training for how to develop the contents using various AI. He also stressed that, one should cross check the literature before finalizing the publication. Dr. Sunil mentioned some of the AIs like ZeroGPT, Harpa and Conch to check the plagiarism associated with the manuscript.
Technical Session 15
Topic: Analysis of qualitative data using AI
This session was mainly focused on how the individuals can analyse the given set of data. He suggested using AI such as ChatGPT and Kaggle for data analysis. Participants got practical experience of using various AIs. Dr. Sunil pointed out the threats associated with the AIs such as loosing control, security, over usage and challenge the thought process. Dr. Raghavendra S, Assosiate Professor and Head, Department of PG Physics chaired the session.
