Department of PG Studies in Social Work, SDM College, Ujire in association with Karanataka Construction Labourer’s Welfare Board, Grama Panchayath Kalmanja, Bharathiya Mazdoor Sangh and Grama Samithi Kalmanja and Rotary Service Association, Kalmanja had organised “Medical Camp” for registered construction laborers’ and their dependents on 05.03.2022 at Kalmanja GramaPanchyath Sabhabhavan at 10.00AM. The programme was inaugurated by Mr M Shridar, President, Gram Panchayath Kalmanja. Medical Officers of Venlock Hospital, Manipal, Mangalore were the resource persons of the medical camp. Mr Imthiyaz, Panchayath Development Officer, Gram Panchayth, Kalmanja, Mrs Vimala, Vice-President, Grama Panchayth, Kalmanja, Dr Ravishankar K R, Head of the Department, Department of PG Studies in Social Work, SDM College, Ujire and Dr Athul S Semitha ,Asst Professor, Department of PG Studies in Social Work, SDM College, Ujire were the Chief Guests of the programme. The programme was organised by Mr Ganesh Hegde, Ms Preethi Reena Lobo, Mr Sourabh S and Mr Swaroop GowdA K S, students of I MSW and the Social Work Trainees of Kalmanja Grama Panchyath, Kalmanja. The programme was co-ordinated by Dr Athul S Semitha, Asst Professor, Department of PG Studies in Social Work, SDM College, Ujire. There were 50 community people who were the beneficiaries of the programme. Ms Preethi Reena Lobo welcomed the guests and gathering and Mr Imthiyaz, Panchayath Development Officer, Gram Panchayth, Kalmanja, rendered vote of thanks.
