Department of PG Studies in Social Work had organised an Alumni Interaction – the forum for ‘The Dreamers and Doers’ on 04-01-2021 at CR-08, SDM PG Centre, Ujire. The session was addressed by alumni of the department Ms Ananya, Associate, Azim Premji Foundation, Kalaburgi.
Ms Ananya, the alumna spoke on Social Work in School Setting and throwed light on work experience. She oriented students on how school social worker carries out the psychosocial services within a teamwork perspective in the educational team, in solving problems because of the developmental stages or family or life conditions, utilization of services and how they carry educational activities in a successful manner. Later the session was followed by queries and discussion. Dr Chitra B C, the co-ordinator of the programme welcomed the resource person and Ms Shridevi, student of second MSW rendered vote of thanks.
