“Students must focus more on writing scientific articles in vernacular languages, especially Kannada, as there is a lot of demand for it,” said Titodutta, the CIS Program Manager. He was interacting with the stduents of Journalism of SDMC Ujire on 4th of February. The department has an MoU with Wikipedia and the students were being trained for execution of the programme.
Ananth Subhraya, the Program Officer of CIS explained the various forms of content creation and uploading techiniques of Wikipedia, based on the MoU. The coordinator of Wikipeda- SDM MoU, Hampesh KS was present at the event.
