Dr.Rajesh.N .Hegde, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry has been sactioned with a research grant of Rs.3,00,000=00 by Vision Group on Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, for his research project titled “Development of eco- friendly nanocomposites based electrochemical sensors for assessing anabolic androgenic steroids and to study their interaction with DNA” in the subject ‘Nano Science and Technology’. This is sanctioned under the scheme ‘Research Grant for Scientist/ Faculty(RGS/F)’ of VGST for promoting research activity among young scientists/ Faculty in the State to take-up challenging R&D projects and provided to faculty members who have innovative ideas to carry out research and build scientific careers in their field of interest at a younger age.
