SDM has earned special recognition with the highest grade of A Plus Plus (A++)

Feb. 7: In the fourth edition of the national assessment and evaluation of the country’s universities and colleges conducted by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), an autonomous organization of the University Grants Commission (UGC), The college has earned special recognition with the highest grade of A Plus Plus (A++).

A three member team of NAC visited the college on 30th and 31st of last month as part of the evaluation process.Chancellor of Odisha Kalahandi University Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Shatapati chaired the team as member coordinator, Professor of Computer Science Department of Guru Nanak Dev University. Karan Jeet Singh Kahlon and Member, Principal of Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur, Maharashtra Dr. Mahadev Gavhane reviewed the comprehensive academic and administrative development of the college.

The team members held a separate meeting with the president of the institution, management board, parents of students and alumni to collect their opinion about the academic quality of the college. He had a separate meeting with the principal, faculty and students.The expert team members of NAC appreciated the college’s teaching and learning system, curriculum, board of studies, research and extension activities, infrastructure, student-friendly system, administrative management and academic leadership, institutional values and best practice.The progress and achievement steps of the college during the last seven years in various sectors prescribed by NAAC are promising as reflected by the highest grade of NAAC.
