He was speaking while inaugurating the Orientation Program-2022 for PG first year students on Monday, 28 November 2022, organized to welcome the new students admitted to various departments of SDM Post Graduation Center Ujireand introduce the educational format of the institution "The teachings of this institution help the students to learn how to live with diversified intuitions, with different people carrying immense respect towards Dharma and Culture", He said. He also said,students should strengthen their desire to become better human beings while passing through different levels of education which encourages students to become great citizens of the country.
He continued "India is getting special recognition at the global level in the field of research. India is ranked after America, Germany and London in providing Research Thesis which proves the special achievement of India in the field of higher education. The number of female students entering higher education is gradually increasing. This kind of change is possible because of the vision that all should get education equally, eliminating the discrimination of men and women". He later quoted the saying of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam "The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise".He enlightened the gathering with positive approach about life and its purpose. Followed by, The Guest of Homour, Secretary of SDM Educational Institutions Dr. Satheeshchandra S said that every student should develop moral sense and moral foundation which increases the knowledge and skills.
Dr.Udayachandra P N, the Principal of SDM College, spoke and clarified that the ability to think logically is an important foundation of a student life. One should be careful while pursuing the ambition to achieve in a particular field.
