Vision Group of Science and Technology [VGST], Govt of Karnataka under the scheme K-FIST Level-1 has sanctioned R. 15 Lakh to Dr. Sahana K, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Physics, as Principal Investigator and Ms. Sowmya K, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Physics, as Co-Investigator to undertake a project titled “Establishment and Upgradation of RF/Microwave Antenna Research Laboratory for Advanced Wireless Communication and Bioscience Applications” for a period of 2 years.
For the project “Management of obesity, glycemic index and lipid profile by the chilli based Indian functional foods”, VGST has sanctioned Rs. 3.00 lakhs to Dr Manoj Godbole, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Biotechnology. The approval was recently published on the official website of VGST.
