The faculty of SDMC and nearby colleges took a happening break from their work schedule and took to cricket for a few glorious moments and memories on the 5th and 6th of May 2019. 4 faculty teams from different colleges battled for the SDM Staff Cricket Championship trophy, which was taken home by the home team itself. Runners-up trophy was bagged by Bhandarkar’s College Kundapura.
The cricket tournament was inaugurated by the Secretary of SDME Society, Dr. B Yashovarma in the presence of the Principal Prof. Keshava TN. The trophies were handed out at the valedictory event presided by Dr. Kishore Kumar CK, Director of Physical Education, Mangalore University. Physical education Director of SDMC Ujire, Ramesh H convened the tournament.
