A state-level webinar titled "Background and Prospects of the Hamas-Israel Conflict" was conducted at Ujire’s Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Autonomous College. The event was organized by the Department of Political Science, with Dr. Rajesh Mohan Sanpamool, Senior Director of the Regional Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, as the distinguished chief guest.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Rajesh Mohan highlighted the global impact of the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel, stating that the current situation has significantly influenced international developments. "The war between Hamas and Israel has had far-reaching consequences on global progress," he remarked.
Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, Vice-Principal of S.D.M. College, and Dr. Shalif A.P., Secretary of the Administration Council and Head of the Department of Political Science, staff were also present at the seminar. Students from St. Aloysius College and the Political Science department of S.D.M. College actively took part in the discussions, engaging in a comprehensive exploration of the historical and contemporary aspects of the Hamas-Israel conflict.
