A workshop on "Successful Research Proposal Writing" was held for postgraduate and undergraduate faculty and research scholars at SDM College Ujire on February 24, 2024. The workshop was organized by the Research and Development Cell of the college.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Rajasekharan Pillai, Professor and Director of the IC Center for Management Studies at Manipal Institute of Technology. In his inaugural address, Dr. Pillai stressed the need for research to expand into new areas of knowledge in order to meet the needs of the changing times. He also emphasized the importance of research for faculty and students in higher education.The workshop was well-received by the participants, who appreciated the opportunity to learn from Dr. Santosh. They also found the workshop to be very informative and helpful. Dr. BA Kumar Hegde principal of SDM college, Dr. Vishwantha dean of PG studies were present in the programme.
