Dr. Vishwanath P., Dean of the SDM Post Graduate Center in Ujire and Head of the Department of Chemistry, has been honored with a professorial promotion by the Department of Higher Education and Technical Education in accordance with UGC norms.
The promotion was awarded in recognition of Dr. Vishwanath P.’s exceptional skills in teaching, research, and professional management. He is the first person in the teaching fraternity of aided colleges under the jurisdiction of the Mangalore Regional Joint Director, covering Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Kodagu districts, to receive a professorial promotion.
