The SDM College of Ujire held the sixth instalments of its monthly dialogue series, "SDM NENAPINGALA," recently. The event featured a conversation with Dr. Antony T.P., a retired principal of the Government First Grade College in Belthangady, who is a former student of SDM College. As part of the event, the SDM College Alumni Association donated a scholarship of Rs. 5,000 to Tejaswi K., a final-year BA student.
Dr. Antony spoke about his experiences as a student at SDM College, from his early days as a freshman to his graduation. He also shared his thoughts on the importance of education and the need for students to be well-rounded individuals. The event was attended by the college’s principal, Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, the SDM College Alumni Association president, Peetambar Herajje, and the SDM College Alumni Association secretary, Shridhar K.V.
Students Anannya, Sharanya, and Vaidehi offered prayers, while the SDM College Alumni Association program coordinator, Dr. M.P. Srinivas, welcomed the guests. Student Meghashree offered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by professor Abhilash K.S.
