An orientation program for new students was held at the Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar College in Ujire. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Satishchandra S., Secretary of the Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Institutions. In his address, Dr. Satishchandra urged students to develop their capabilities on a moral foundation. He said that students should prioritize knowledge acquisition and personality development during their college years.
Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, Principal of the college, presided over the program. Dr. Shailesh A.P., registrar, Prof. Nanda Kumari, registrar of evolution, Dr. Shridhar Bhat, Dean of the Arts Faculty, Shakuntala, Dean of the Commerce Faculty, Dr. Vishwanath P., Dean of the Post-Graduate Centre, and Dr. Gajanana R. Bhat, Coordinator of the IQAC, were among those present. The program covered a range of topics, including college rules and regulations, academic procedures, and student welfare services.
