Shishir S. Shetty, a second-year BBA student and NCC Cadet Corporal from SDM College, Ujire, achieved notable success at the All India Thal Sainik Camp 2024 held in Delhi. Representing the Karnataka & Goa Directorate, Shishir’s team secured fourth place in the Map Reading competition during the final phase of the camp.
This national-level NCC Army camp saw participation from over 1,000 cadets from 17 NCC directorates across India. The selection and training camps for Shishir were held at Shivamogga, NITK Surathkal, and Mysuru prior to the final event.
The college administration, including Principal Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, NCC Army Unit head Lieutenant Bhanuprakash B.E., and Officer-in-Charge Shobha, congratulated Shishir on his achievement.
