Students can build a better life if they focus on developing skills along with marks, said Dr. T. Krishnamurthy, retired Principal of SDM Residential Pre-University College, Ujire. He was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Pinnacle-2k24’ Inter-Class Fest organized by the Commerce Department of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Autonomous College here today (Feb 8).
Speaking as the chief guest, Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, Principal of SDM College, said, “We should set high goals. Training is necessary to achieve that goal. Such programs help us to achieve that goal and develop the skills needed for our future professional life.” Shakuntala, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Lakshminarayana K.S. and Harish Shetty, Assistant Professors, and student coordinators Rajesh and Sahana were present on the dais.
Sahana welcomed the gathering, Rajesh proposed the vote of thanks, and Shivani and Bhoomika compered the program.
