An inaugural ceremony of students’ forum the “Synergy – The HR forum for excellent you” of Department of PG Studies in Social Work was held on 08-02-2022 at Seminar Hall-1, SDM PG Centre, Ujire at 2.45PM.
The dignitaries on the dais were Mr M Y Harish, Executive Officer, SDM Educational Society, Ujire, Dr P N Udayachandra , Principal, SDM College, Ujire, Dr P Vishwanatha, Dean, SDM PG Centre, Ujire, Dr Ravishankar K R, the President of forum Synergy and HOD, Department of PG Studies in Social Work, Ujire and Dr Chitra B C, Asst Professor & Co-ordinator of forum Synergy, Department of PG Studies in Social Work, SDM College, Ujire.
Ms Sharvani and Ms Sharanya, students of II MSW invoked the blessings of god. Dr Ravishankar K R gave brief introductory note on the forum. Mr M Y Harish, Executive Officer, SDM Educational Society, Ujire, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp followed by inaugural speech. The inaugurator expressed his happiness regarding the forum and professionalism of the students of the Department of PG studies in Social Work and enlightened the students by giving positive hope about life.
Dr. P Vishwanatha, Dean, SDM PG Centre, Ujire recognised the office bearers of forum Synergy with badge. Mr M Y Harish, Executive Officer, SDM Educational Society, Ujire administered office bearers pledge. The office bearers are Ms Ranjitha P, Vice President, Ms Anukta B, the Secretary, Mr Parshwanatha, Treasurer, Ms Shreeraksha, Coordinator-Alumni Interaction, Ms Shridevi, Class Representstive-II MSW, Ms Divya K B, Event Coordinator-II MSW, Mr Manas S Kotian, Class Representative-I MSW, Ms Seema Hegde, Event Coordinator-I MSW.
Ms Divya K B, Event Coordinator of II MSW presented proposed action plan of forum synergy for the academic year 2021-22. The program was further continued by the inauguration of the wall magazine-Focus, by Dr P N Udayachandra, Principal, SDM College, Ujire, by opening the curtain of wall magazine. Dr athul S Semitha, the faculty coordinator of wall magazine – Focus, Ms Divya K B- II MSW and Mr Venkatesh –I MSW, the student co-ordinators of wall magazine joined the inauguration. The presidential address was given by Dr P N Udayachandra, Principal, SDM College, Ujire wherein he advised students to focus on higher studies and to set a goal that can be productive. Ms Bhandavya, student of II MSW welcomed the guests and gathering and Ms. Ranjitha P, the Vice President of forum Synergy rendered vote of thanks. Ms.Agneya Shetty, Student of I MSW carried Mater of Ceremony.
