Ujire: A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was recently organized at SDM College, Ujire, for newly appointed faculty members. The programme aimed to familiarize teachers with the institution’s values, ethics, administrative and examination systems, student psychology, as well as research and publication practices.
The event was jointly organized by the College Teachers’ Association and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Principal Dr. Vishwanath P. inaugurated the programme and addressed the gathering. Dr. Sridhar N. Bhat (Register Administration), Ganesh B. Nayak (Register exam), Dr. Prarthana J. (Associate Professor, Biotechnology), and Dr. Vandana Jain (Head, Department of Psychology) served as resource persons.
Dr. Bojamma K. N., Secretary of the Teachers’ Association, welcomed the gathering. G. R. Bhat, IQAC Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks, and Dikshith Rai, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, compered the programme.
