Ujire, July 24 — “Dreams are the first step toward achievement. The broader the dream, the greater the possibility of success,” said Dr. Deepali S. Dongre, a dental surgeon from Ujire, while addressing students at a special interactive session titled “Aakashaakke Eni Haaki” (Placing a Ladder to the Sky) held at SDM College, Ujire.
The event was jointly organized by the college’s Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell, Internal Complaints Committee, and Women Development Cell.
Speaking as the resource person, Dr. Dongre emphasized the importance of self-awareness and self-belief. “We must recognize our strengths and turn our best qualities into tools of empowerment. Building self-respect from within and appreciating ourselves without waiting for external validation is crucial,” she said.
Presiding over the session, the college’s Vice Principal Nanda Kumari K.P. encouraged students to dream big and pursue those dreams with determination and focus.
Akshatha Jain, Coordinator of the Women Development Cell, delivered the welcome address, while Deepa R.P., Chairperson of the Women’s Grievance Redressal and Internal Complaints Committees, proposed the vote of thanks.
Committee members and a large number of students were present at the program, which was compered by third-year BCA student Shwetha.
