He was speaking while inaugurating the ‘Ekashunyam 3.0’ state-level IT fest organized by the Computer Science Department at SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire on April 2nd 2026.
College Principal Prof. Vishwanath P. presided over the function and said that along with studies, such extracurricular activities complement the progress of the students.
100 students from the various colleges participated in the event. Various competitions like Coding and Debugging, IT Quiz, Web Designing, Reels Making, Gaming, Cultural Dance, IT manager, Product Launch were conducted.
Mr. Shailesh Kumar, Head of Computer Science Department, Ms. Akshatha Jain, Ms. Harini, IT Fest Coordinators, Mr. Neeraj NK, IT Club Joint Secretary, Mr. Varun Science Coordinator were present.
Ms. Monal Jiya Rasquinha , IT Club Secretary welcomed the gathering and President Ankita Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
