A hands-on workshop on web designing – UI/UX and WordPress Studio was organized at the department of B.Voc in Digital Media and Film Making on 20 and 21 August, 2025.
On day 1, Mr. Shashikanth Shetty, Founder of Sabweb Creations Udupi conducted a session on UI/UX development with special focus on Figma web designing tool. 18 students from final year B.Voc (DMFM) attended the workshop which spanned the entire day.On day 2, multiple resource persons – Mr. Gautam Navda, Founder of ForthFocus, Mr. Manjuanth – Founder of Uktha Digitals, Omkar Udupa, Founder of Kotisoft Solutions, Ms. Chandana, Operations Head of ForthFocus and Mr. Shashikanth Shetty conducted a workshop on WordPress Studio. The resource persons are also the members of Udupi WordPress Community. Students of second year and final year attended the workshop on day 2.
