“Self-confidence is vital for students. Without it, achievement becomes impossible. Strong self-confidence is the secret behind every success,” said Mr. Harsha Kumar K.N., Assistant Leader Trainer (Scouts), Bharat Scouts and Guides.
He was speaking after inaugurating the training programme on Nipun and Rajya Puraskar examinations and launching the annual activities of the Rovers and Rangers Unit of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (Autonomous) College, Ujire, on August 12.
Presiding over the function, Principal Dr. Vishwanath P. emphasized that growth is possible only through persistent hard work. He added that students must develop the ability to utilize their knowledge and skills effectively, recalling the progress made by the Rovers and Rangers Unit over the years. The first wall magazine of the unit for the current year was also unveiled on the occasion.
Dr. Ganavi D., Ranger Leader and Head of the Rangers Unit, Senior Rover Prathan G.K., and Senior Ranger Viksheetha K. were present. Mr. Prasad Kumar, Rover Scout Leader, welcomed the gathering. The programme began with a prayer by Sinchana and team. Bhavishya proposed the vote of thanks, while Bhuvana and Varshini compered the event.
The inaugural was followed by a training session on Nipun and Rajya Puraskar examinations.
