The Department of Physics organised the inauguration of the “SPECTRA” Physics Students’ Association on 18 July 2026. Dr Niskala K R, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Physics, Poornaprajna College(Autonomous), Udupi was the inaugurator. During the occasion, the department wall magazine and E-magazine was unveiled. Mrs. Apeksha, HoD of Physics briefed about association and its activities. Mrs Nandakumari K P, Vice Principal of the College, was the president of the programme and Dr. Savitha Rao, Dean of Science was there as guest of honour The newly elected office bearers of the association were introduced. The staff members of Physics and 100 Physics students from I, II and III B.Sc were actively participated in the event.
