Ujire, July 18 — Three netball players from SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire, have proudly represented Karnataka in the 17th South India Level Men’s Netball Tournament held at Mahendra Engineering College, Tamil Nadu, on July 17 and 18.
The participating students—Chintan B.C. (First Year MSW), Manikantha (Final Year B.Com), and Ganesh (Final Year B.A.)—were selected as part of the Karnataka state team for the prestigious tournament, showcasing their athletic talent on a significant regional platform.
The players received rigorous training and mentorship under the guidance of the college’s Physical Education Directors, Mr. Sudheena and Mr. Nithin, whose coaching played a key role in preparing the students for high-level competition.
The participation of SDM athletes at the South India level reflects the college’s strong commitment to nurturing sports excellence alongside academic achievements.
