The inauguration of the IT Club activities for the academic year was held on 28 July 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Indraprastha Auditorium.
The programme was presided over by Mr. Shridhar N. Bhatta, Registrar (Administration). The Chief Guest, Ms. Shwetha, Founder of Vedya Computers, Kasaragod, inaugurated the IT Club and addressed the gathering. In her inspiring speech, she encouraged students to enhance their technical skills, embrace innovation, and make the best use of the opportunities provided through the IT Club.
President of the function Mr. Shridhar N. Bhatta, Registrar (Administration) highlighted the importance of technology, teamwork, leadership, and continuous learning in today’s digital era.
Mr. Shailesh Kumar, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Ms. Harini, Staff Coordinator of the IT Club, the office bearers, and the class coordinators were present on the stage.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from BCA and BSc Computer science students and faculty members. The inauguration marked the beginning of a series of technical, academic, and skill-development activities planned by the IT Club for the academic year.
The inauguration also included the launch of two key departmental publications:
- The Wall Magazine, inaugurated by, Mr. Shridhar N. Bhatta, Registrar (Administration) which will serve as a creative space to showcase students’ technical articles, artwork, and thought pieces.
- The e-Magazine, launched by Mr. Shridhar N. Bhatta, Registrar (Administration), designed to document departmental activities, research contributions, and student achievements in digital form.
In addition to these launches, student achievements were recognized and celebrated during the program.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, management, faculty members, student coordinators, office bearers, and all participants for making the event a grand success.
