The Department of Computer Science organized a Guest Lecture on the Topic Careers in Data Science: Skills,Tools and Roadmap.
The Resource Person was Dr. Sridhar Acharya, HOD of BCA,Srinivas University Institute of Computer Science and Information Sciences, Pandeshwara, Mangalore. He focused on how the traditional Software Development Jobs are getting transformed into Data Scientists. Data science is crucial for transforming massive, raw datasets into actionable insights, driving smarter decision-making, increasing operational efficiency, and enabling, personalized user experiences across industries.
Mr. Shailesh Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science , SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire presided over the Guest Lecture. Faculties of the Department and a total 150 Final year BCA students were benefitted by the knowledge sharing.
