Field Visit

: The Political Science Department of SDM College, Ujire, organized a field visit for its students on February 27. As part of the visit, students explored the Belthangady Taluk Court Complex, Police Station, and Sub-Registrar’s Office.

At the court, Judge Sandesh K. addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of discipline and restraint for success. He also provided insights into competitive examinations and offered guidance for aspiring candidates. Advocate Swarnalatha shared valuable information regarding her legal career and the fundamental principles of law.

At the Sub-Registrar’s Office, Deputy Registrar Nagaraj briefed students on marriage registration, special marriage laws, and the significance of property registration and documentation. During the visit to the police station, Belthangady Police Circle Inspector Nagesh Kadri educated students about emergency helplines and the legal measures taken in response to violations of government regulations.

Inspector B.G. Subbapuramat provided a concise overview of daily police operations and various law enforcement roles. Head Constables Abhijith Kumar, Vijay Kumar, and Dhananjay conducted a practical demonstration on rifle usage, offering students hands-on experience. The visit was accompanied by the Head of the Political Science Department, Nataraj H.K., along with Assistant Professors Bhagyashree, Shivakumar P., and Kiran Jain.
