The Department of B.Voc in Retail and Supply Chain Management organised an Experiential Learning Visit to Sahyadri Institute of Technology and Management on 20 February 2026 under the programme titled Startup Insights: Exploring Innovation and Incubation. The III Year students, accompanied by two faculty members, visited the institution’s Incubation Centre to gain practical exposure to startup ecosystems, innovation processes and student-led entrepreneurial initiatives. During the visit, participants interacted with incubation mentors and observed ongoing startup projects, which enhanced their understanding of idea development, business modelling and institutional support mechanisms for emerging entrepreneurs. The programme provided valuable industry-oriented learning and strengthened the students’ practical insights into innovation and incubation practices.
